Typically speaking, regular e-liquid contains four main ingredients; Freebase Nicotine, Vegetable Glycerine, Propylene Glycol and food-grade flavourings. Some brands may use distilled water and/or food colouring in their mixes as well.
Nicotine Salt e-liquid is made up of the same main ingredients but the nicotine component is different; unlike Freebase Nicotine, Nicotine Salts is the raw form of nicotine found on tobacco leaves, and when paired with benzoic or citric acid, it results in a smoother more easily absorbed form of nicotine. Nicotine Salts are less harsh on the throat compared to Freebase Nicotine in higher strengths.
